Microsoft Window Engineer

Cleared is working with a Statutory Agency in the Defence Department, seeking to onboard up to 18 technical professionals for a project based in Adelaide.

Candidates must possess either an NV1 or NV2 clearance and be open to undergoing the TSPV process.

The project, slated to commence in July 2024, entails a major ICT Capability Development initiative, offering a 12-month contract with a 24-month extension possibility.

We are currently seeking a Microsoft Windows Engineer who will undertake the following responsibilities:

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, delivery, and work package management.
• Develop and maintain a Windows server platform, encompassing Active Directory, DNS, PKI, remote desktop services, and WSUS.
• Design, test, and deploy new Windows operating system versions, as well as build and maintain system images, providing integration for VMware OFFICIAL 9 OFFICIAL Role & SFIA Service Description.
• Integrate and support management and security software and configurations.
• Provide server automation and integrate with MFA solutions.
• Implement regular system status checks, covering hardware and software.
• Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualized Windows systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows-related issues.
• Manage server migration when necessary..

• Experience in procuring goods and services on behalf of the Australian government.

Other requirements

• Candidates require a AGSVA Security Clearance NV1 OR NV2 to perform the role.
• Candidates must be willing to undergo ASD's Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.
