Cleared ICT are currently supporting agencies within the national intelligence space, who are looking to engage TSPV resources for long term contract engagements in Canberra.

We are working with ASD (Australian Signals Directorate) who has a requirement for a ICT System Administrator - Technical Director (12 month Contract)

The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility LOR 4 and hold either a current Top Secret Positive Vetting clearance or have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period. (Australian Citizen)

Role Description

Provision of ICT System Administration services enabling the delivery of sustainment, deployment and support of minor projects in the Endpoint Services Section of Technology Services Branch.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Provide the technical direction for installation, configuration, security, sustainment and enhancement of Microsoft technologies enabling delivery of services to ICT platforms utilising Commonwealth approved designs.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to ensuring integration and consistency of supported environments, technologies and services, maintaining and applying knowledge, experience and skills to meet ASD's capability needs.
  3. Apply technical knowledge and industry best practice to a customer focused, security enabled global ICT platform, with focus on optimising system performance, integrity and security.
  4. Lead and provide advice on the development and support of the Windows Desktop SOE utilising demonstrated skills in system automation, Windows PowerShell, System Centre Orchestrator and Service Management Automation (SMA).
  5. Provide specialist, professional and technical expertise, providing SME level engagement and liaison with assigned Capability Delivery and Planning resources regarding ICT deliverables.
  6. Provide high level of Stakeholder engagement and liaison with customers. Ensure user requirements are delivered against, and within specified Service Level Agreements.
  7. Provide strategic advice to senior management and stakeholders as well as leading and assuming accountability for work programs that have strategic or operational significance.
