Linux Systems Administrator

A global prime Defence organisation is looking to engage a Linux Systems Administrator in Newcastle.

The Linux System Administrator will be accountable under the general direction of a Project Manager for the provision of specialist expertise to execute the installation, configuration, maintenance, optimisation and support of Linux based ICT infrastructure and system software such as operating systems, virtualisation platforms and enterprise applications.

The role will involve working with business representatives, project managers, software developers and other technical stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of ICT infrastructure and systems.

Clearance: NV1 is essential

Contract tenure: 12 months + extensions
