Middleware System Administrator

Cleared are on the hunt for a Middleware Systems Administrator to work for a global systems integrator in Canberra.

You will have experience in systems administration on both Linux and Windows systems. Plus have knowledge of the IBM Middleware suite of products such as WAS, IIB (ACE), MQ Series, ISIM/ISAM, DB2 and Datapower. Or a willingness to learn these technologies.

Under direction of Senior System Administrator & Tech Lead, your duties will include following:

• Installing products' patches in Linux and Windows systems
• Provide 24/7 on call support on a roster basis
• Create/maintain/review ICT documentation technical and operational
• Provide operational support for IBM Middleware suites including MQ, Message Broker, ISIM/ISAM running Linux and Windows operating systems
• Deploying MQ, Message Broker/IIB/ACE, WAS and DataPower artefacts in a complex and secured environment
• Provide automating and scripting application installation and customisation
• Provide support for PKI Certificate management
• Support onboarding of new Webservices consumers

Essential

• Experienced Linux administrator
• NV1 clearance minimum

Desirable

• Windows server/Active Directory administration
• Full stack infrastructure (or near) knowledge or experience
• NV2 clearance
