IT Wintel Engineer- DST NV2

Role Description:

Cleared is currently partnering with the Department of Defence's leading Science & Technology branch (DST) and is actively seeking Wintel Engineers for a 12-month contract, with the potential for 2 additional 12-month extensions. These positions will be based in either Adelaide or Melbourne.

DSTG serves as the primary Australian government agency tasked with applying science and technology to safeguard the nation and its interests. We are seeking skilled ICT professionals eager to contribute to cutting-edge computing research. Key technical skills and experience required for each position include a minimum of 3 years in administering, managing, and/or supporting relevant systems. This exciting opportunity is based in either Adelaide (EDN) or Melbourne (FB) at the Department's offices.

Role Requirements:

• Must hold a minimum Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance.
• Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
• Windows 10
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft Configuration Manager
• Strong skills in general Windows system administration
• Some knowledge of VMware Virtualisation technologies
• Some experience or exposure to on premise cloud technologies is desirable.
• Microsoft Server build and deploy.
• Microsoft SQL Server (Optional)

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 3 years supporting Windows 10 iOS, AD,MCM & Servers.
• Minimum 3 years build/design experience with Intune and Azure
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to product changes.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality service.
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent documentation and timekeeping skills
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent relevant qualifications required.
• NV2 AGSVA Clearance
• Australian Citizen

• A valid Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) or above security clearance is required.
