MS Engineer L3, NOC - Network Engineer

Cleared Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent Global Technology & Business Solutions Provider to identify a Network Engineer with a Baseline clearance for a permanent role based in Canberra starting ASAP!

As a Network Engineer, you will oversee the management of WAN, LAN, Data Centre Routing and Switching, Wireless Networks, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.

This role will be exclusively dedicated to a specific client, focusing on the administration and support of their network infrastructure amidst a significant network overhaul.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently handle operational tasks to resolve incidents and requests promptly within agreed SLAs, providing consistent updates on ticket resolutions.
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and analyse issues, logging all incidents efficiently and capturing relevant information for immediate resolution.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement complex system changes while liaising with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Monitor performance levels and capacity of supported devices and networks, contributing to proper capacity planning and management.
  • Identify recurring issues, initiate problem management, and collaborate with automation teams for optimizing efforts and automating routine tasks.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in core technologies and 3+ years in two or more desirable categories.
  • Managed Services experience and proficiency in ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline, along with advanced IT diplomas.
  • ITIL Foundation certification v3/v4, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, and F5 Certified Administrator/Technical Professional qualifications.

Special Requirements:

  • Applicants must consent to random drug and alcohol tests.
  • Due to industry requirements, the candidate must be present in the office five days a week.
  • Australian Citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance are mandatory.
