Cleared ICT are currently supporting agencies within the national intelligence space, who are looking to engage TSPV resources for long term contract engagements in Canberra.

We are working with ASD (Australian Signals Directorate) who has a requirement for a System Administrator (12 month Contract)

The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility LOR 4 and hold either a current Top Secret Positive Vetting clearance or have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period. (Australian Citizen)

This role is Canberra based.

Role Description

The VMware Administrator is required assist with the management of VMware virtual environment as per the direction from the technical lead and manager.

Skills and Knowledge

  1. Knowledge and experience in Authentication and Authorisation technologies. (experience with Red Hat IPA is preferred)
  2. Understanding of various protocols
    (i.e. DNS, DHCP, NTP) and proxies
    (i.e. web proxies)
  1. Experience in one of the following preferred technologies:
    1. Software defined storage technologies.
    2. Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service
    3. Platform-as-a-Service
    4. Container technologies
    5. Splunk
    6. Elastic Search

Major Responsibilities

  1. Design, install and maintain all server hardware and software systems.
  2. Conduct Linux systems administration including Operating System installation, configuration, integration, hardening, software and patch management and documentation of Cyber Security Capability.
  3. System patching including Red Hat Ansible, Red Hat Satellite automation, configuration management and deployment tools.
  4. Design, develop and maintain all system tools for all scrips and automation processes and monitor system capacity and usage.
  5. Identify and analyse system performance issues, work in consultation with relevant stakeholders to recommend and implement remediation actions.
  6. Identify any configuration discrepancies in the system, asses security risks and implement solutions by adhering to security standards.

TSPV Clearance is required.
